D L Martin & Partners were appointed as Quantity Surveyors for alterations and additions to Portlaoise Hospital.

The initial phase comprising new Psychiatric and Paediatric Units, together with extensive alterations and additions to the Medical Wings and Catering Units and the re-development of the site and car parking.

Later phases included the construction of an Oratory, infilling existing courtyard for extension of the Oncology Unit, replanning the reception areas and many other minor alterations.
