Clontarf Hospital, Administration Building
Clontarf, Dublin 3
This late nineteenth century building was originally constructed as a private dwelling. It was acquired by the Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital of Ireland and converted for use as a hospital in the 1940s.
This building is being restored on a phased basis with the recent works including the restoration of the roof to the main building. The works included the refurbishment of all roofing, rainwater goods, gutters and downpipes together with the repair or replacement of all associated roof timbers, the repair of all chimney stacks and the redecoration of all exposed roofing elements
